Golestan Palace


Golestan Palace (Kakh-e-Golestan) is a series of buildings in Arg Tehran square. The buildings of the palace have been constructed in various times. The name of the palace is taken from Golestan Hall in the exit mansion. The 7th annual session of the Universal Heritage Committee of UNESCO in Phnom Penh – Cambodia included this palace in the list of world heritage. It is the 16th Iranian monument that has been included in UNESCO world heritage. Golestan Palace was a part of the historical royal Arg (castle).


Bazaar Tehran (Tehran Grand Market)


The two main Chahrsough called Chaharsough Bozorg and Chaharsough kuchak join different section of Bazaar Tehran. Bazaar Sarrafha (money exchangers market) starts in Chahrsough kuchak and leads to Bazaar Amir and Bazaar Bozorg continues to the end of Bazaar Farsh (carpets market). At the end of the bazaar, other stores such as bags, shows and clothes shops are seen.


National Museum of Iran


National Museum of Iran is more than 70 years old and more than three hundred historical objects are displayed in the museum. National Museum of Iran has more than 20 thousand square meters infra-structure and it is not only the largest archeology and history museum of Iran, but also, in terms of volume, varieties and quality of the water, it is considered as one of the few prestigious museums of the world. In the culture of museums, National Museum of Iran is considered as the mother museum and the goal of its establishment is to save and search in the works of ancient people of Iran and transferring them to future, creation and reinforcement of understanding among tribes and nations, knowing and manifesting the share of Iranians in the flourishing of global culture and civilization and efforts in improving and promoting public knowledge.
